What is sun 60?

Sun 60 was a rock band that formed in Los Angeles in 1987. The band consisted of lead singer Joan Jones, guitarist David Russo, bassist Letitia Wolf, and drummer Steve Kingston. They were known for their eclectic sound, incorporating elements of rock, pop, funk, and grunge.

Sun 60 released their debut album, "Only," in 1990, which included the hit single "Intense," which received heavy airplay on rock radio stations. Their second album, "Headjoy," followed in 1992, and also received critical acclaim.

Despite critical success, Sun 60 never achieved significant commercial success and disbanded in 1995. Joan Jones continued to write and perform music, and also became a music supervisor for television and film. David Russo went on to work as a composer, producer, and engineer, while Letitia Wolf became a successful artist and fashion designer.
